Cambodia-ASEAN Trade Volume Exceeded USD 14 Billion in 2024

In 2024, the trade volume between Cambodia and ASEAN member countries surpassed USD 14.3 billion, marking a significant increase of 12.8% compared to the same period in 2023. This data comes from a recent report by the Ministry of Commerce.

According to the report, Cambodia’s exports to ASEAN countries amounted to over USD 4.620 million, reflecting an 8.87% increase. Meanwhile, imports from ASEAN member countries into Cambodia reached USD 9.689 million, up by 14.85%.

Among ASEAN member countries, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia emerged as Cambodia’s top trading partners. Vietnam leads the pack, importing goods worth USD 3.298 million from Cambodia. Thailand follows with imports valued at USD 780 million.

Singapore imported USD 261 million worth of goods from Cambodia, while Malaysia and Indonesia imported USD 128 million and USD 87 million worth of goods, respectively.

It is noteworthy that in the first 11 months of 2024, Cambodia’s total trade volume reached USD 50.45 billion, representing a 15.95% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
