Construction of US$2million stadium in Kampong Speu begins

Construction of the US$2 international standard stadium in Kampong Speu province has been following a grand opening ceremony presided over by H.E Hun Many, President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia and a National Assembly member for Kampong Speu province.

The international standard stadium is funded by Naga World with construction set to finish ahead of the 2023 SEA Games that Cambodia is to host.

The stadium is in Tamol village in Chabar Mon town, Kampong Speu province, the stadium complex will be built across 4 hectares.

H.E Hun Many said construction of the stadium is to a contribution to the young generation in the sports sector and present new development for Kampong Speu province.

Ahead of the 2023 SEA Games, Cambodia is constructing many infrastructures such as the US$170 million Morodok Techo National Stadium in Prek Tasek, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh, which is now undergoing extensive construction. (Read more)
