Dialogue Between Cambodian Permanent Secretary of State and Hochiminh Construction & Building Material Association (SACA) Focuses on Joint Development

In a promising move toward enhanced collaboration within the construction sector, His Excellency Tekret Samrach, Permanent Secretary of State, recently welcomed a delegation from the Hochiminh Construction & Building Material Association (SACA). The meeting served as a crucial platform to discuss various cooperation opportunities aimed at fostering stronger economic and technical ties between Cambodia and Vietnam, as noted during the meeting on 5 December 2025 at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction.

Key discussions between the Cambodian official and the SACA delegation centered on potential projects and initiatives designed to mutually benefit both neighboring nations. This engagement reflects a shared commitment to robust growth and development within the dynamic construction industry across the region.

As Cambodia continues its ambitious efforts to develop its national infrastructure and building capacities, the expertise, insights, and resources offered by the SACA delegation could prove added value. This cross-border partnership underscores the importance of regional collaboration at a time when both countries are actively seeking to strengthen their economic landscapes. The event marks a significant step towards collaborative efforts that promise to enhance the exchange of knowledge and best practices in construction techniques and the supply of building materials between Cambodia and Vietnam. The successful execution of such initiatives will be vital for supporting sustained economic growth and modernizing urban areas in both countries.
