GDT to Conduct On-Site Inspection of Real Estate Accuracy in all Five Sangkats in Kampot City

The General Department of Taxation (GDT) and the Kampot Provincial Authority will soon conduct on-site inspections to update the real estate information in all five Sangkats in Kampot city from 9 June onwards, according to a press release on 30 May 2022.

Director of Provincial Real Estate Inspection Secretariat, Mr Sin Sengho said the working group will on-site collect data, the ID of property owners, real estate information, location photos, coordinates, and other necessary information for updating and promoting property registration in the database of property management and transfer tax of GDT.

Collecting property information data is very important for taxpayers to be able to pay the correct amount through partner banks of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. They simply use the property tax payment certificate after registering and updating the real estate information as well as online tax payment (GDT Taxpayer Application).

GDT has already conducted an on-site inspection of tax documents and real estate registration accuracy in 14 districts in Phnom Penh along with other provinces including Kandal, Battambang, and Banteay Meanchey. Inspections are also underway in Siem Reap at present.
