Gov’t Approves Four Investment Projects Worth US$18.6 million in PP, K. Chhnang, & K. Speu

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given permits to private firms to invest US$18.6 million to establish four factories in Phnom Penh, Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Speu.

According to the CDC’s announcement on 4 February 2022, the four companies are:

1- GLOBAL XILIN GARMENT ACCESSORY CO., LTD is investing US$3.4 million to establish a cotton factory at Canadia Industrial Park, Veng Sreng Street, Por Sen Chey district, Phnom Penh.

2- TOYOKI APPAREL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD is investing US$4.5 million to establish a garment factory in Phsar Trach village, Longvek commune, Kampong Tralach district, Kampong Chhnang province.

3- KH WIN STAR GARMENT CO., LTD is investing US$5.3 million to establish a garment factory in Trach village, Kaheng commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.

4- HONG RI (CAMBODIA) CLOTHING CO., LTD is investing US$5.4 million to establish a garment factory in Chrey Kong village, Sangkat Choam Chao II, Khan Por Sen Chey.

The four projects will create approximately 5,000 jobs for local people.
