H&M Debuts First Store in Aeon Mall Phnom Penh

Swedish multinational clothing retail company Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M) on Thursday 17 March opened its first store at Aeon Mall Phnom Penh.

H&M Phnom Penh is located on the 1st floor in Sweet Zone of Aeon Mall 1.

Speaking at the event, Philippe Lassaux, CEO of H&M Cambodia and Thailand, said the company strives to bring fashion and quality at the best prices in a sustainable way to a new city.

“We look forward to offering our H&M fashion collection and excelling our customers to create their own personal style and look,” he said.

The decision to expand its stores to Cambodia was made after the company assessed the potential of Cambodia given the gradual increase of local purchasing power.

The firm has been manufacturing its products in Cambodia since the 1990s.

H&M already has a large presence in the region with 11 stores in Vietnam and 43 in Thailand.
