Cambodia’s Exports Surge by 12.6% to US$12.29bn in First Half of 2024

In the first six months of 2024, Cambodia exported goods worth US$12.29 billion, reflecting a 12.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The General Department of Customs and Excise released this report on 10 July 2024.

From January to June, Cambodia’s imports also saw a rise, increasing by 12.8% to US$13.7 billion. This brought the country’s total trade volume to US$26 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.

Cambodia’s primary exports include garments and accessories made from fabrics, fruits and nuts, edible machinery and electrical equipment, footwear, and rubber. The largest markets for these products are the United States, Vietnam, China, Japan, Thailand, and other major trading partners.

On the import side, Cambodia sources most of its goods from China, Vietnam, and Thailand.
