A remarkable component of this undertaking is the construction of the “Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Bridge Stueng Bot-Ban Nong Ean,” which links the two nations. This 620-metre-long bridge, with 215 metres situated on the Cambodian side and 405 metres on the Thai side, stands as a symbol of cross-border unity. Completed on 15 January 2019, at a cost of around 670 million baht, equivalent to US$19 million, this bridge serves as a critical artery for trade and collaboration between Cambodia and Thailand.

The Stueng Bot-Ban Nong Ean International Border Gate Project not only holds the promise of bolstering the national economy and facilitating cross-border trade but also aligns with the broader vision of ASEAN Connectivity, fostering greater regional integration and collaboration among ASEAN member nations.
