Ministry of Education Officially Inaugurates New Campus for AUPP Liger Leadership Academy

Deputy Prime Minister Hang Chuon Naron hails the new facility as a milestone in cultivating global leaders and driving national socio-economic growth

The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport has officially marked a new chapter in the Kingdom’s academic landscape with the formal inauguration of the new AUPP Liger Leadership Academy campus. The opening ceremony, held on March 23, 2026, was presided over by His Excellency Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, along with Ms. Janet Tartaglia, the Director of the academy.

During the proceedings, Ms. Tartaglia outlined the core mission of the institution, emphasizing its dedication to shaping students into global citizens and visionary leaders of the future. The academy’s curriculum is designed to integrate high-level academic knowledge with advanced technological skills, physical discipline through sports, and a profound commitment to social conscience. This holistic approach is intended to empower Cambodian students with the capabilities required to compete on an equal footing with their peers in the international arena.

Speaking at the ceremony, His Excellency Hang Chuon Naron noted that the launch of this new location represents a significant milestone in the school’s evolution since its founding in 2012. He underscored the Ministry’s belief that the academy will serve as a vital engine for human resource development, preparing a new generation of leaders to contribute to the nation’s socio-economic prosperity.

The AUPP Liger Leadership Academy has consistently played a prominent role in modernizing the educational experience in Cambodia.
