Multi-Million Dollar Samdech Techo Sports Centre to be Built in Pursat

Construction on the multi-million-dollar Samdech Techo Sports Center in Pursat province’s Krakor district is set to begin this year.

According to the Pursat provincial administration, the stadium project will be built on an area of 25 hectares in Veal Vong village, Sna Ansa commune, Krakor district.

The sport centre is being built in response to the growth of sports in Cambodia and to serve as an iconic legacy for the province.

The project was recently announced by HE Keo Rattanak, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the government working group on Krakor and Kandieng districts.

HE Keo Rattanak said the working group has already cleared the ground and proceeded to build the fence as soon as possible before starting on construction.

The sports centre will include world-class football pitches, theatres, volleyball courts, basketball courts, racing courts, badminton courts, audience stage, a gym, playground, playground and parking lots.
