National Assembly Unveils Architectural Design of New Administrative Building

The National Assembly of Cambodia unveiled the architectural design on 13 November of the new administrative building worth over US$25 million, with bidding for construction contractors now open.

According to the image, the new administration building has a modern style with green building features. The new building will be located as a paired building with the current building designed in a traditional Khmer style to showcase the perfect combination of traditional and modern arts.

According to the announcement issued on 12 November, bidding applications should be submitted to the General Secretariat of the National Assembly no later than 27 November 2021. (Read more)

The project will be built under a grant aid of US$25 million from the Vietnamese government, following an agreement signed in 2019.

According to an official from the National Assembly, the building is expected to be an 11-storey building.
