The Russian business office, known as BRICS House, officially commenced its operations in Cambodia following an inauguration ceremony held on February 23, 2026. This new establishment is expected to significantly enhance trade relations and tourism cooperation between Cambodia and the ten BRICS member countries.

Mr. Vladimir Palancica, the chairman of the BRICS House branch in Cambodia, stated that the office is centrally located within the Times Square commercial and residential building in the Boeung Keng Kang district of Phnom Penh. He further detailed that the BRICS alliance currently includes ten nations: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Egypt, and Ethiopia.

The opening of the BRICS House in Cambodia represents a vital strategic step in creating a dedicated platform to bridge Russian and BRICS investors with the local Cambodian market. The center will function as a primary gateway for Foreign Direct Investment into the Kingdom while facilitating business matching between local and international stakeholders. Beyond trade and the exchange of goods, the office will also focus on promoting the tourism sector and attracting more visitors from the diverse BRICS member regions.
