US Chamber of Commerce to Boost Investment in Cambodia’s Digital Sector

The American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia has pledged to attract US investments to the country’s growing digital sector.

Chamber president Casey Barnett announced this commitment during a meeting with HE Minister Chea Vandet on 20 March 2025.

Mr. Barnett praised the ministry’s reform efforts and emphasised collaboration between US investors and Cambodian businesses.

Minister Chea Vandet outlined ongoing initiatives to advance the digital landscape, including telecommunications reform and building digital government infrastructure. Key plans include establishing a digital park to foster innovation, support start-ups, and enhance digital literacy through educational opportunities.

With these developments, Cambodia aims to strengthen its digital economy and become an appealing destination for technology investments.
