Cambodia Earns Over USD 36 Million from Ticket Sales in First 10 Months of 2025

Cambodia generated more than USD 36.9 million in revenue from ticket sales at major tourist sites during the first ten months of 2025, according to a report released by the Angkor Foundation on November 1, 2025.

The majority of the income came from ticket sales to the Angkor Archaeological Park, which attracted 765,518 foreign visitors between January and October, generating USD 35.57 million. This represents a slight decline of 1.15% compared to the same period in 2024.

In October alone, 60,249 international tourists visited Angkor, contributing USD 2.87 million in ticket revenue — a year-on-year decrease of 17.27%.

Beyond Angkor, the Angkor Foundation also reported additional income of USD 1.42 million from ticket sales to other renowned attractions, including Koh Ker Temple, Beng Mealea Temple, and Phnom Kbal Spean, as well as from boat services at Chong Khneas Port.

To further boost tourism, the Cambodian government and the Angkor Foundation continue to implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing visitor experiences and promoting Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty to global travelers.
