Phnom Penh Set to Become Pinnacle Destination for Investors & Tourists with Ambitious Infrastructure Project

In a strategic move to elevate Phnom Penh to new heights of allure for both investors and tourists, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction (MLMUPC), in collaboration with relevant ministries and institutions, is spearheading a groundbreaking infrastructure project.

During the Inter-Ministerial Meeting on Infrastructure Management in Phnom Penh held on 13 February 2024, HE Say Sam Al, Deputy Prime Minister of the MLMUPC, affirmed the commitment to this transformative initiative. He expressed the vision that the project would instill a sense of pride among Phnom Penh residents, showcasing the capital as a jewel in the kingdom.

The Deputy Prime Minister outlined the multifaceted goals of the project, aiming to enhance the city’s aesthetic appeal, elevate the quality of living, facilitate livelihoods, and attract significant investments. The overarching objective is to align with the Cambodia 2050 vision, positioning the capital as a hub of prosperity and high-income opportunities.

HE Minister Peng Po Nea, Minister of Public Works and Transport, echoed the commitment to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Land Management. Together, they aspire to propel Phnom Penh into a capital that not only captivates with its charm but also stands as a testament to Cambodia’s progress and development.
