Tbong Khmum Provincial Authority Preserves Boeung Prak as a Natural Heritage Tourism Site

The Tbong Khmum Provincial Authority is keeping Boeung Prak preserved as a natural heritage tourism site located in Luong Preah Sdach Kan Heritage Site, said Tbong Khmum Provincial Governor, HE. Cheam Chansophorn, at Tree-Planting Ceremony on 07 July 2022.

The governor has instructed all local authorities and relevant stakeholders to work together to determine Boeung Prak’s lands and mark borders to preserve and further prevent illegal land encroachment.

The governor also requested all citizens to turn this beautiful area into a natural tourist area to attract national and international tourists to visit and study the Luong Preah Sdach Kan Heritage Site.

On the occasion of the Tree-Planting Ceremony, the Tbong Khmum Provincial Authorities and people planted 2,500 trees and released tens of thousands of fish into Boeung Prak to protect and preserve natural resources.
