During the grand opening ceremony of a thrilling kayak competition at the esteemed Kampot Water Sports Stadium on the morning of 23 May 2023, HE Ung Chhay, Deputy Governor of Kampot Province, revealed that meticulous site assessments are underway to create a permanent kayaking track adhering to global standards.

Under the astute guidance of HE Mao Thunin, the Provincial Governor, a dedicated team has been assigned to conduct a comprehensive study, with the aim of constructing a world-class boat racetrack.
