Pursat Province Boasts 1,162 Operating Enterprises, Including 49 Mineral Resource Businesses

According to HE Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat province, as of 7 March 2023, Pursat province has a total of 1,162 commercial enterprises operating in the province. These enterprises comprise 292 private companies, 482 sole proprietorships, enterprises and   388 business subsidiaries.

HE Khoy Rida also highlighted that Pursat province is home to 10 rice mills for domestic and foreign export and approximately 63 kilns with traders collecting rice from some provinces for export to Vietnam.

In terms of mineral resources, Pursat province has 49 businesses, including 25 of sand, 11 of stone, 11 of red chalk, 1 of construction stone, and 1 of marble.

This significant number of operating enterprises in Pursat province reflects a healthy and growing economy attracting investors and entrepreneurs. It also underscores the province’s potential for further economic growth and development.
