Cambodia Registers 609 New Investment Projects in 11 Months

Total Capital Investment Surges to $9.5 Billion in 2025, Reflecting 57% Increase in Project Numbers

Cambodia has continued to attract a significant volume of new investment projects, with the country registering 609 projects with a total capital investment of $9.5 billion within the first eleven months of 2025. This was revealed in a press statement released by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) on December 4, 2025.

The press statement indicated that, during this 11-month period in 2025, the Cambodian Investment Committee successfully registered 609 investment projects. The total capital for these projects amounted to approximately $9.5 billion, representing a substantial increase of 220 projects, or roughly 57% in the number of projects, compared to the same period the previous year.

The CDC further noted that the total investment capital also saw a significant boost of approximately $3 billion, equivalent to a rise of around 47%, when compared to the corresponding period in 2024. In the first eleven months of 2024, the Cambodian Investment Committee had only registered 389 investment projects, with a total investment capital of approximately $6.5 billion. (read more)
